With September just around the corner (I know, I don’t want summer to end either), it is about the time that all of the advertisements for the new fall clothing lines start to show up. Over the next few weeks, you are going to be overloaded with ads about everything from back to school fashion to comfortable clothing for cold weather. And let’s be honest—some of those clothes aren’t particularly stylish, to say the least.
I’m going to let you in on a little secret: this fall, all of the retailers are going to be focusing on the hoodie. That’s right, men—you can finally pull out that cozy hoodie but look stylish at the same time! Here are five of the latest and greatest design trends for men’s hoodies that you should look out for this fall. Women can rock these looks too because our sweatshirts are unisex!
Graphic men’s hoodies are a staple to everyone who loves urban wear. Express your personal style with a colored graphic hoodie of your choice with some dark, slim fit jeans.
Plain, Fitted Hoodie
Many people automatically think of baggy when they think of men’s hoodies. However, wearing a solid colored, well fitted hoodie can be great for your wallet and will give you a touch of urban style.
Neutral Hoodie with a flashy watch
Wearing a gray or black hoodie that fits well with an expensive watch (leather strap) is a great juxtaposed look that many designers are going for right now.
Striped Hoodie with Tan Pants
Striped hoodies give you a great urban look, especially if it has colored stripes. I also love pairing striped hoodies with slim fit beige jeans.
Zip Hoodie with a Suit Jacket
Men’s hoodies aren’t the most formal article of clothing, but when worn underneath the right suit jacket (preferably a tweed jacket that does not clash with the hoodie), you can still wear your favorite hoodie to formal event. I find this a great way to balance formal and casual, while still maintaining your personal urban style!
These are just some of the ways you can wear your hoodies, but you should try experimenting a little bit as well because, after all, that is what urban fashion is all about!
